Phuket property owners are warned not to rent their condos and villas for a period of less than 30 days or they could face jail.

It has been widely reported this week in the local media that condo and villa owners could face jail time and/or a 20,000 baht fine for renting their properties for less than 30 days at a time, unless they are registered as a hotel.
